豐田 Alphard 40 系於 6 月 21 日在日本首次亮相，亦已經在香港和台灣發表了。雖然依然熱賣，可是已經聽到有不少車主的聲音說希望有純電版本，然而，剛剛上任豐田汽車的新社長松尾勝博在 4 月份已經透露了未來將推出電動版本的 Alphard 計劃。

松尾勝博在接受媒體訪問時強調了豐田的全方位戰略，該戰略有助於提高客戶需求和競爭力。針對 Alphard，他特別提到了豐田計劃推出插電式油電混合動力車型，使車主既可以充電又可以使用汽油行駛。

另一位受訪的董事水涧英纪指出，純電動 MPV 在中國市場迅速崛起，多家中國車企已經相繼推出與 Alphard 相似設計的純電動 MPV，因此豐田對此感到強烈的競爭壓力。他也透露，雖然發布的具體時間尚未確定，但內部計劃首先在中國推出電動版 Alphard，而不是在日本。

實際上，在 Century SUV 的發布當天，豐田已在發布會現場展示了一輛疑似插電式油電混合動力的 Alphard 車型，這會否暗示電動版 Alphard 已經在開發中呢？但我相信 Alphard 和 Vellfire 推出純電或氫能版，必定比現在賣得更兇！

Toyota's extensively redesigned Alphard made its debut in Japan on June 21 and has also been unveiled in Hong Kong and Taiwan. While it continues to enjoy strong sales, there has been a growing demand from car owners for an all-electric version. Fortunately, the new president of Toyota, Kazuhiko Matsumoto, who took office in April, has already hinted at plans to launch an electric version of the Alphard in the future.

In a recent media interview, Kazuhiko Matsumoto emphasized Toyota's comprehensive strategic approach, aimed at enhancing customer demand and competitiveness. Regarding the Alphard, he specifically mentioned Toyota's intention to introduce a plug-in hybrid version, offering owners the option to charge electrically or use gasoline.

Another interviewee, Toyota director Eiji Mizutani, noted the rapid rise of pure electric MPVs in the Chinese market. Several Chinese automakers have already introduced electric MPVs with designs similar to the Alphard, creating strong competitive pressure for Toyota. While Mizutani did not confirm a specific release date, he revealed that internal plans prioritize launching the electric Alphard in China ahead of Japan.

In fact, on the day the Century SUV was unveiled, Toyota showcased a prototype that appeared to be a plug-in hybrid version of the Alphard. This further fuels speculation that the electric Alphard is already in development. Many enthusiasts believe that the introduction of all-electric or hydrogen-powered versions of the Alphard and Vellfire will likely lead to even more robust sales in the future.
