The Mitsubishi Delica Mini has been a popular choice since its introduction, and in January 2023, Mitsubishi teamed up with the renowned camping brand Coleman to unveil the Delica Mini x Coleman concept at the Tokyo Auto Salon. While such concept cars are usually one-off showcases, Mitsubishi has decided to turn this collaboration into a production option for prospective Delica Mini buyers.
Mitsubishi stated that many customers expressed interest in the Delica Mini x Coleman concept, which prompted the decision to offer this unique exterior package. Developed in collaboration with the outdoor and camping equipment brand Coleman, the design features a distinctive "greige" color (a blend of grey and beige), lantern graphics, and line patterns on the doors, with Coleman's logo proudly displayed on the D-pillar. However, it's worth noting that the concept's roof rack, grippy A/T tires, mud flaps, and other camping accessories are not included in the package but can be added separately for an extra cost.
Although this package can be applied to Delica Mini models in various colors, Mitsubishi recommends pairing it with a two-tone black mica combination. This choice allows the original color to show through in specific areas of the bodywork while leaving the roof uncovered. Additionally, they suggest combining it with a gloss black finish for the front grille, grille accents, and tailgate garnish, along with white-finished emblems, to replicate the look of the launch vehicle.
The price of the Mitsubishi x Coleman package is ¥761,200 (approximately $5,164) when chosen as a factory-installed option and ¥870,540 (about $5,912) for existing Delica Mini owners looking to retrofit it. When combined with the suggested Delica Mini T Premium 4WD trim, priced at ¥2,238,500 (around $15,201), the total cost comes to ¥3,109,040 (approximately $21,118) for a fully equipped vehicle. It's important to note that this package will only be available in the Japanese market from September 9th to March 31st.
